This is called a Geodesic Dome - not only does it look sort of awesome, according to the informations I have it is also very strong (sometimes they are the only houses left standing after a tornado) and environmentally friendly, which means that it only needs 30% of the energy that is required for heating a cooling an average house.
And also: Hobbit Hole much? I really wouldn’t mind living in one of those…
